Exchange with a student in Spain

FEEDUC

Are you planning to study at a university in Spain from September 2022?

To help you make up your mind, do you think it would be useful to talk to other students already in Spain?

Since FEEDUC was set up, many students have contacted us because they are looking for direct contact with students already in Spain.
FEEDUC has created the conditions for voluntary and autonomous student-to-student contact.
A service available exclusively to our FEEDUC registered students.

We will call it: "Student-contacts" in Spain.

In order to allow students to exchange freely, this service is not open to parents! Therefore, any request for contact from a parent will be automatically refused.

In compliance with the law, it is not possible for us to communicate student details to other students. The contact details entrusted to us as part of your FEEDUC registration are totally confidential and do not leave our premises.

We have succeeded in establishing links (information meetings, open days, Facebook groups for FEEDUC students enrolled in universities, etc.) between students already in Spain and those who have a project in progress, but we would like to try to better satisfy you on this point, always in compliance with current regulations.

We know that studying in Spain represents an investment (in time and money) for students and we felt it was important that the "Student Contacts", volunteers, could be " rewarded " for the time they will devote to individually share their experience of studying in Spain!

We have therefore decided to propose on the FEEDUC website a simple system of independent contact (in compliance with a charter) between students registered with FEEDUC who have a study project in Spain and "Student Contacts" willing to share their experience on the spot (parents refrain. Trust your children).

We suggest you ask them for a small fee (5 euros for 20 minutes seems reasonable, but if you want to give them more they should be happy).

This amount, which compensates them for the time they spend on the exchange, you too can one day benefit from it by sharing your experience as a "Contact Student" once you have started your studies in Spain!

To facilitate this exchange, payments can be made through free phone applications. The "student-contact" with whom you want to exchange will give you the information to do so. We suggest that it takes place before the telephone exchange because as the saying goes: "good accounts make good friends". Together you will determine your means of communication and your appointment.

After having read this charter, the student-contact agrees to respect it,

  • The student-contact is committed to organizing the exchange with you, within a reasonable time frame,
  • The Student-Contact iscommitted to respecting the strict confidentiality of your exchanges,
  • The Student-contact agrees not to reuse, distribute or share your contact information with anyone.

After having read this charter, you agree to respect it,

  • You agree not to exceed the time scheduled for your exchange and not to contact him/her again, except with his/her consent, outside the initially scheduled exchange,
  • You agree not to reuse, disseminate or communicate its details to anyone,
  • You agree to strictly respect the confidentiality of your exchanges.

The student contacts are there to share their experience, butthey are not there to help you with your plans to study in Spain, or with the formalities involved in studying in Spain - that's the role of FEEDUC.

In case of non-compliance with the charter or illicit use of the platform, access to it will be suspended.

Any inappropriate behavior or behavior that does not comply with the charter should be reported by e-mail to info@feeduc.eu.

This charter aims to create the conditions for a happy and useful exchange.

The anonymous profile of each "Contact Student" will be visible to FEEDUC-registered students who log on to the site with their login and password.

Each profile will indicate:

  • The region and school of origin in France,
  • Studies in progress in Spain,
  • The student's Spanish university and year of integration,
  • Areas of interest.

It is up to each student to request one or more exchanges depending on the studies he or she wishes to carry out in Spain or the university on which he or she wishes to obtain feedback.

We hope that the "student-contact" program in Spain will bring you a plus in your reflection.

For all those who have plans to study in Spain in 2022, what to do?
