If you are one of the lucky ones admitted during the first recruitment session of the VU,

FEEDUC has thought of you and your housing questions.

Are you going to study kinesiology in Valencia? Are you a student at the UEV? Then you start to ask yourself the question of accommodation.
Where should I live? In a shared apartment? On my own? In a residence?
Here are some tips to answer these questions.

Choosing a place to live is always very complicated, especially when you are doing it from far away. The first thing to do is to be careful with scams. And to avoid it, trust our partner EUROACE who will be able to find an accommodation which corresponds to your needs.

If you are looking for short-term accommodation to get to know the city better and to be able to choose an apartment that suits you later on, they will offer you this solution.

You prefer to reserve the apartment you have fallen in love with for the whole year? They can also offer you this service.

And why not as a family?

EUROACE also offers a homestay service. This is a good way for you to improve your Spanish and especially to get to know the Spanish culture better. When you study physics in Spain, or dentistry in Spain, you will be dealing with Spanish patients. So it is better to know them well in order to treat them better. A stay with a family will allow you to get to know their habits, their interests and their way of life. And if you are lucky, they will give you the best addresses to visit and enjoy the city.

What are FEEDUC's tips?

As always, our main advice is related to language skills. Only you can know if you prefer one apartment or another. But we can assure you that living with Spaniards, either in a shared apartment or with a host family, will not make your studies in Spain the same as those who stay with French people. Therefore, it is best to share an apartment with Spanish people or even with international students, as this will allow you to be more open-minded.

And as always, if you can make the trip to choose your accommodation, it is always better and easier.
