FEEDUC has selected universities in Spain for the quality of the courses they offer for dental studies in Spain.
Today we offer you a complete review of the admission process of each of the 5 universities to which we can accompany your dental studies project in Spain.
To enter theUniversidad Alfonso X el Sabio, located in Villanueva de la Cañada near Madrid
it is mandatory to:
- Go to the university campus to drop off documents:
- certified copies of report cards (1st, 12th and baccalaureate) already available at the time of the tests
- regular photocopy of an ID
- proof of payment for the entrance tests (150 euros to be confirmed).
- Register to attend an open house/entrance test.
- The day of March 1, 2019 is reserved for students supported in their project by FEEDUC. Please register on our calendar.
- Other days open to all students will be offered in March, April, May and June. You can check the dates available on the admissions process.
- Know the admission criteria:
- 40% on a biology test available in French (level Tle S Spanish - no annals available)
- 30% on high school grades (1ère, Tle and Bac)
- 15% on Spanish and 15% on the psycho-technical test (available in French).
To enter theUniversidad Europea de Madrid, located in Villaviciosa de Odon near Madrid
1. If you request the Spanish language course
it is mandatory to :
- Complete and email to FEEDUC an application form, a copy of an identity document, a copy of the 3 1st year report cards and a completed motivation interview form.
- pass a psycho-technical test, an English test and a Spanish test (you MUST obtain at least a B1 level in the Spanish test to be admitted).
ATTENTION, for the moment there are only a few dozen places available for foreigners on the Spanish course.
- Many of our students have already been admitted, so these spots can be reserved quickly.
- Additional spots may be offered in June 2019 although we do not know at this time when or how many.
The answer will be sent to the student, by e-mail, on the Thursday afternoon following the end of the admission tests.
2. if you request the English curriculum
it is mandatory to :
- Complete and e-mail to FEEDUC an application form, a copy of an identity document and a motivation interview form completed in Spanish, together with your Première grades.
- pass a psycho-technical test, an English test and a Spanish test (OBLIGATION to obtain at least a B2 level in the English test to be admitted).
The answer will be sent to the student, by e-mail, on the Thursday afternoon following the end of the admission tests.
To join theUEMC located in Valladolid
- You must provide the original of an official certification (DELE or SIELE) of a minimum B1 level in Spanish.
- As this university is very popular with Spanish students, we recommend that you bring this document with you on Friday, March 1, 2019, the day of the open house organized by UEMC for FEEDUC students.
- From this date on, the dental program can be completed at any time.
The documents will be completed on site. Please bring your report cards and an identity document.
To enter the Universidad Europea de Valencia, in Spanish or English
it is mandatory to :
- Complete and e-mail an application form to FEEDUC, together with ALL the documents specified in the dental admission process on the VU page of our website.
- pass a psycho-technical test, an English test and a Spanish test. It is necessary to obtain at least a B1 level in the Spanish test to study dentistry in Spanish or a B2 level in English to study dentistry in English.
- For Session 1, tests must be taken by February 28, 2019, answer by March 05, 2019.
- For Session 2, tests must have been taken by April 11, 2019, answer by April 15, 2019.
- For Session 3, tests must have been taken by May 30, 2019, answer by June 05, 2019.
Note for 2019-2020: If you are not admitted to one of the first two sessions, you will not be able to retake the Spanish test for the following sessions.
To study dentistry at CEU San Pablo, located in Monteprincipe, near Madrid
we recommend the Spanish course (English studies are mostly requested and carried out by Taiwanese students, we do not recommend them)
You must:
- register on the link you request on info@feeduc.eu.
- Register for the tests and pay the registration fee (60€) online on the CEU website. The tests must be held in Madrid.
- Prepare the following documents:
- Identity document
- Academic documentation: notes from 3 years of high school.
- Cover letter in Spanish
- Certificate of level if available (B2 minimum)
- take the entrance tests on site:
- Scientific knowledge test (biology and chemistry) : 90mn
- English test - B2 level minimum (if no official certificate) : 90mn
- Competency test (psychological profile): 30mn
- Personal interview in Spanish: 15 minutes
- Know the selection criteria:
- High school record and grades: 60%.
- Admission tests: 40% of the total
- Note the process flow:
- Exam dates: April 6 and June 22, 2019
- Results: To be determined
Other admission processes
Apart from private universities selected for the quality of their dental courses by FEEDUC, the admission processes are as follows:
- Or they may be based on a selection based on grades. This is the case for public universities, for example, which select on the basis of the applicant's average grade, taking into account his or her "credencial" grade (compulsory validation of the baccalaureate in order to follow a university course in Spain). If the required grade is not very high (5/10 and slightly above), it is because the quality proposed can be questioned.
- Or rather, focused on the level of Spanish. This is an interesting demonstration of the motivation of a student who has made the necessary efforts to succeed in his studies and integration.
- Or a combination of both factors (grades + Spanish level).
- Either there is no selection and this is neither a sign of quality of the future students, nor a sign of quality of the teaching.
