If you've been reading the articles on the FEEDUC blog about studying in Spain since the beginning of September you know that there are both public and private universities.
As you can probably imagine, university fees will vary depending on this status.

The annual price range you will find will vary from 1 to 60 depending on the studies you want to do in Spain and the universities you will choose to study in.
We will, for example, talk about an annual fee of :
- About 2,000 euros to study at one of the public universities in the public universities in the district of Madrid for which we can accompany your project, if your academic results allow it, sometimes a little less for some studies in public universities in the provinces.
- Approximately 6000 euros per year over 2 years for the of audioprosthesis
- From + or - 9500 euros per year over 4 years for the curriculum of physiotherapy in a private university
- More than 20,000 euros per year over 5/6 years for some dental courses dental in English or medicine in a private university in Spain.
You can see that the difference between a 12,000 euro tuition budget to obtain a diploma in hearing aid and a 120,000 euro tuition budget to complete medical studies is very significant.
It is even more so when it comes to comparing the rates of the public and private systems.
- The public universities are largely financed by the taxes paid by Spanish taxpayers. Private universities are financed by the students enrolled in them.
- The curriculum : Some curricula require a lot of equipment (a simulated hospital, veterinary clinic) and others much less (a simple classroom and an overhead projector).
- Geographical location: Universities set their prices according to the Spanish clientele. In Spain the average income is very different from one region to another and the prices are therefore adapted to the geographical area in which the university is located. French students pay the same price as Spanish students.
- The targeted socio-economic sector: In a given geographical area, universities determine a target clientele, and their price positioning will therefore be adapted to the targeted public.
- The secular or religious nature of the institution: A Catholic university in Spain can benefit from significant tax advantages that are sometimes reflected in the tuition fees. In exchange for lower tuition fees, you will have to take religion courses and validate this subject in order to obtain your degree.
- Scholarships to study in Spain: Don't count on scholarships or financial aid because they don't exist or only the best of the best students can benefit from them.
- Student loans The vast majority of students who use our services take out a bank loan in France. This solution can be frightening but it is the one that is imposed on the vast majority of students who have no other choice than private universities in Spain to achieve quality studies abroad. They are aware of the weight of this loan on their future budget and we see a lot of work and involvement on their part.
