For private universities ( https://www.feeduc.eu/universites/ ), admissions processes normally open in December, and for most universities and courses you can apply until June/July. During June and July, there are usually fewer places available, as this is when Spanish students start applying to private universities ( https://www.feeduc.eu/universites/ ) after trying to apply to public universities ( https://www.feeduc.eu/universite/etudier-dans-une-universite-publique-en-espagne/ ). Before applying, make sure you have the language level required by the university, as there's no point in applying if you don't have it. Don't forget that you can only apply once to the same university in the same year.

Please note: it's not first come, first served! If you don't have the required level, we advise you to take a Spanish course ( https://www.feeduc.eu/apprendre-espagnol/ ) before you apply, so that you're well prepared for the admission tests, which will also help you to succeed in your studies.

The application deadlines for public universities ( https://www.feeduc.eu/universite/etudier-dans-une-universite-publique-en-espagne/ ) in Spain and France are not the same. In Spain, the deadline for applying to public universities is from June to July.

To apply to public universities in Spain, you also need to apply for Credencial before July. For students in their final year of high school, this deadline is very short, as the results of the baccalaureate are normally due at the beginning of July. For this reason, we advise students in their final year of high school to wait a year before applying to public universities, so as to be in time to bring the credencial before July. In this way, students can prepare their Spanish level during this year.(https://www.feeduc.eu/universite/etudier-dans-une-universite-publique-en-espagne/ )

Studying at a public university in Spain(https://www.feeduc.eu/universite/etudier-dans-une-universite-publique-en-espagne/ ) therefore often requires a year's preparation, for some to get up to speed in Spanish, and for all to get all the documents in on time.

The answer depends on the university, your chosen course of study and the time of year you ask us. During your individual appointment, we'll look at the places available at the various universities for your chosen course. Every month from March to July, you'll also find a blog post on our website entitled "What places are still available". It will let you know what places are available at our partner universities at the beginning of each of these 5 months of the year: https: //www.feeduc.eu/blog/

In Spain, there are no admission percentages. If there are still places available at the university(https://www.feeduc.eu/universites/ ) of your choice, if you are prepared and meet the various admission criteria (especially Spanish!(https://www.feeduc.eu/se-mettre-a-niveau-espagnol/ ), you can apply for a place. That's why it's important not to rush! There's no point in applying if you're not prepared.

If you have been admitted to a university in Spain and already have your baccalaureate, you can start the process of applying for a credencial(https://www.feeduc.eu/credencial-validation-baccalaureat/). For FranceEpagne Education to help you with this process, simply fill in the form entitled "Information for creating an account on the UNED website". We'll then create an account for you on the UNED website, and you can start the process by following the steps in the guide that we update every year and make available to you. You can find the form and the guide on our website: https: //www.feeduc.eu/credencial-validation-baccalaureat/

You can apply for the veterinary curriculum(https://www.feeduc.eu/formation/etude-veterinaire-espagne/ ) at UAX(https://www.feeduc.eu/universite/universidad-alfonso-diez-el-sabio-uax/ ) and UEM(https://www.feeduc.eu/universite/universite-europea-de-madrid-uem/ ) at the same time.

If you have a B1 level in Spanish, you may be eligible for the UAX(https://www.feeduc.eu/universite/universidad-alfonso-diez-el-sabio-uax/). You'll need to choose a test date on the UAX platform(https://www.feeduc.eu/universite/universidad-alfonso-diez-el-sabio-uax/ ), and the tests will be online and supervised.

For the UEM(https://www.feeduc.eu/universite/universite-europea-de-madrid-uem/ ), you need a B2 level in Spanish to be eligible for the veterinary program. If you have this level, you can apply; if you don't, we advise you to work on your Spanish to reach this level and then apply. The tests are taken online, and if you score B2 in the online Spanish test, you'll then have an oral interview.

So, whether you are applying to UAX or UEM, be sure to prepare your Spanish so that your application is not rejected at the beginning!

As with all other programs, if you have the level of Spanish required by the university, it means you are ready to apply!

You can apply to several universities at the same time, except for the European University group. This university does not allow you to apply to UEV(https://www.feeduc.eu/universite/universite-europea-de-valencia-uev/), UEM (https://www.feeduc.eu/universite/universite-europea-de-madrid-uem/ ) and UEC(https://www.feeduc.eu/universite/universite-europea-de-canarias-uec/) at the same time. You'll have to choose one of the three! Nor can you apply for more than one course at the same time. Only one application is accepted.

On the other hand, we also do not advise applying to multiple universities at the same time because universities for several reasons:

  • Universities will not give you an answer at the same time because they do not have the same timetable or the same process. You might get a quick positive answer from a university that is not yourfirst choice with a short delay to pay the reservation of place (between 3 and 10 days for some). You may have to spend hundreds to thousands of euros unnecessarily to reserve a place just to wait for the answer from the university that you prefer
  • Choosing the right university and doing what is necessary to be eligible is often enough to get a positive answer on the application you prefer.
  • If you are not admitted to the university of your first choice, you can apply for a second choice.
  • You can also choose to apply to a university for which you have the prerequisites for admission and be sure to get a place.
  • Following this procedure will prevent you from wasting time and energy by applying everywhere and putting together several files.
  • If you make a list of your favorite universities, you will have a plan A, then a plan B, then a plan C without having to take unnecessary steps.

No, you absolutely must have the level of Spanish(https://www.feeduc.eu/se-mettre-a-niveau-espagnol/ ) required by the university. This level can vary depending on the university and the course of study, so it's very important to take a close look at the levels required by the different universities for the course of study you're interested in. This will enable you to prepare well for this level and apply with the best chances of a positive response.

Universities often require a B1 or B2 level. Level B1 is the minimum level for understanding courses, and sometimes this level is not sufficient for successful study. So, even if you are admitted with a B1 level, we recommend that you take Spanish classes(https://www.feeduc.eu/apprendre-espagnol/ ) before and during the academic year.

Preparing for DELE or SIELE certification(https://www.feeduc.eu/etudier-en-espagne-certification-du-niveau-despagnol-dele-siele/ ) may also be a good idea.

Individual interviews with universities, when they are part of the selection process, are often there to evaluate the student's motivation and level of Spanish. Our advice for the interviews is to prepare questions to ask and show your motivation and interest. It is also a good idea to look at the university's website, as your questions will be more relevant. This will also help you to identify what you like about the university and to be able to argue your choice with the person who will be interviewing you.

The odds of selection for students who have completed a year of PASS or LAS and the odds of selection for senior students are, as a rule, exactly the same.

University admission criteria for most programs are based on high school academic record and Spanish language proficiency.

Students who have done a PASS or a LAS have the advantage of having learned and seen many subjects during their years in France and they will certainly review them in part in Spain on health courses. This would also help them during scientific tests that may be offered by some universities. They often have more knowledge than a student who comes from the terminale for health studies, but their PASS or LAS scores are not taken into account in the evaluation of their file.

No, students cannot retake the test if they fail. However, sometimes, if the student had technical problems while taking the online test, the university will allow the student to retake the test after verification.

Yes, you can apply to both a private university(https://www.feeduc.eu/universites/ ) and a public university(https://www.feeduc.eu/universite/etudier-dans-une-universite-publique-en-espagne/ ), but you must respect the application deadlines for both universities.

Depending on your course of study, admission to a public university(https://www.feeduc.eu/universite/etudier-dans-une-universite-publique-en-espagne/ ) can be very complicated, so if you want to make the most of your chances, you can apply to both private(https://www.feeduc.eu/universites/ ) and public(https://www.feeduc.eu/universite/etudier-dans-une-universite-publique-en-espagne/ ) universities at the same time.

As the response from public universities is usually given after that of private universities(https://www.feeduc.eu/universites/ ), you will certainly have to reserve your place in the private sector, while risking losing the amount paid to reserve the place if you are finally admitted to the public sector(https://www.feeduc.eu/universite/etudier-dans-une-universite-publique-en-espagne/ ).

This way, you will be able to secure a Plan A and B, should you not qualify in the public.

There are several accommodation options(https://www.feeduc.eu/recherche-de-logement-lieu/ ) for students wishing to study in Spain.

The best option for students who do not yet have a good level of Spanish and for all those who wish to progress quickly in Spanish is to stay with Spanish families.

This allows the student to live a real immersion experience in the Spanish language and culture. The family often becomes the student's adoptive family, especially if he or she leaves to study in Spain just after graduating from high school and is still a little immature.

Other options such as sharing a flat, student residences (on campus or in the city) or renting an apartment are possible.

You will find the options recommended by FEEDUC proposed by our partners for accommodation in Spain on this link: https: //www.feeduc.eu/recherche-de-logement-lieu/

The budget for accommodation(https://www.feeduc.eu/recherche-de-logement-lieu/) in Spain depends on the city and type of accommodation. The cost of housing and living in general varies from city to city.

FEEDUC offers partner universities in 3 different cities: Madrid, Valencia and La Orotava in the Canary Islands.

Madrid being the capital, this is the most expensive option. A shared apartment with a decent room will cost a minimum of 450/500 € per month and a studio apartment will cost a minimum of 700/800 € per month.

In Valencia, housing prices are lower. For a shared room, it is necessary to count about 300/350 € per month and for a studio about 600/700 € per month.

For the Canary Islands, the price of accommodation is slightly lower than in Valencia.

Here you will find all the accommodation options by university or city offered by our partners: https: //www.feeduc.eu/recherche-de-logement-lieu/

A good level of Spanish(https://www.feeduc.eu/se-mettre-a-niveau-espagnol/ ) is essential for studying in Spain.

Even if there are no miracle solutions, with time, several options are available to bring you up to speed in Spanish(https://www.feeduc.eu/se-mettre-a-niveau-espagnol/).

FEEDUC, thanks to its expertise, can provide you with the contact details of language centers in France and in Spain in the "Learn Spanish" section of our website.

https://www.feeduc.eu/apprendre-espagnol/

The best option for learning Spanish is to take a Spanish immersion course in Spain. Indeed, if you have the time to travel to Spain, this is the fastest way to progress since you will have the opportunity to combine intensive courses with accommodation with a host family during your stay to progress even more quickly.

In addition, you can go even further in preparing for your Spanish, some schools also offer science vocabulary courses for students who wish to enter the health field.

If you have more time, doing a GAP Year(https://www.feeduc.eu/formation/gap-year-en-espagne/ ) in Spain can be a very good option for considerably improving your language skills through immersion. It's also a great way to start learning about your future studies.

Of course, not all of you have the possibility to go to Spain to prepare your language level. In this case you can take courses in France.

If you take courses at the Instituto Cervantes or at one of the centers in collaboration with the Instituto Cervantes, you can have your level officially certified by taking the DELE or SIELE Spanish language certifications(https://www.feeduc.eu/etudier-en-espagne-certification-du-niveau-despagnol-dele-siele/ ).

The third option for learning Spanish is to take a distance learning Spanish course. This time it doesn't matter where the language center is located. This option is often much more flexible than the face-to-face options and allows you to have greater flexibility without losing the quality of the training.

The sooner you can get started the better.

Learning a language does not happen overnight, it requires a certain regularity in your learning.

Taking Spanish courses(https://www.feeduc.eu/apprendre-espagnol/), going and living in Spain, watching films and TV series in Spanish, reading in Spanish, using your telephone and computer in Spanish will all have a greater impact on your level of proficiency if you combine them to make faster progress.

There's no quick fix, just take the time to brush up on your Spanish(https://www.feeduc.eu/se-mettre-a-niveau-espagnol/ ).

The number of hours of classes per day will depend on the university, the academic year and the course of study. On average, students have between 4 and 6 hours of classes per day from Monday to Friday. This may not seem like a lot (especially if you come from a PASS or BCPST prep school) but be aware that you will be asked to do a lot of personal work, individually or in groups.

It also depends on the university and the course you choose. Indeed, on some courses, such as physiotherapy(https://www.feeduc.eu/formation/etude-kine-espagne/ ), course periods can coincide with internship periods, so compulsory internships are usually in Spain.

It is sometimes possible to do additional internships during the vacation periods abroad, thus in France.

There is no one university(https://www.feeduc.eu/universites/ ) that is better than another among the universities selected(https://www.feeduc.eu/universites/ ) by FEEDUC. They all have different profiles: location, price, type of campus, admission criteria, etc. But they all meet the criterion we use to select them: quality of teaching.

Our years of experience give us sufficient hindsight to know that in the selected universities(https://www.feeduc.eu/universites/ ), everything is done to ensure that a serious, hard-working student is trained under the right conditions and can become a competent professional.

Some universities(https://www.feeduc.eu/universites/ ) offer campus tours. Simply ask for an appointment.

On the other hand, the best option for visiting universities is during the open days(https://www.feeduc.eu/evenements-francespagne-education/ ) that we usually organize in February.

You'll have the chance to see the campus facilities while meeting the university's academic team and other students(https://www.feeduc.eu/contact-etudiant-espagne/ )who will share their experience of the university with you.
