Our specific Spanish course to study in Spain

FEEDUC

FEEDUC has organized a special Spanish course for those who will be studying in Spain. With our partner International House Madrid, we have put together a Spanish course that will meet your specific needs.

Being a dentist, a physiotherapist, a hearing aid specialist, a pharmacist, a veterinarian, an architect... is not easy. But when you have to study in Spanish, it's even more complicated.

So don't panic and prepare yourself well. This is the key to your success in your studies in Spain. Here is the schedule for this specific course which will start every 15 days from March 12th.

The two-week program includes 4 hours of Spanish classes in the morning from Monday to Friday and 1.5 hours of specific classes every afternoon. Here are the details of the sessions:

  1. Session 1: Political organization of Spain (the regions and their main differences), the Spanish (the Spanish stereotype, legends and realities).
  2. Session 2: Spanish schedules (are they so different? Will we have to adapt?) and meals (how does a Spaniard eat in Spain?).
  3. Session 3: Approach to the Spanish university system (university vocabulary and administrative procedures), information on the Spanish educational system.
  4. Session 4: Expressing yourself in writing (the basics of official language, how to write a cover letter, formulate a request in writing, request a certificate...).
  5. Session 5: Getting around (metro, bus, commuter trains), the heritage to discover around Madrid.
  6. Session 6: I am moving to Madrid (all the administrative steps: filling out a form, obtaining a resident card, registering, opening a bank account, taking out a telephone line).
  7. Session 7 : I'm looking for an apartment (what types of apartments? Sharing or living alone? The "good to know" before renting. How to find my way in an unknown city).
  8. Session 8: Doing internships in Spain (vocabulary of the working world, the intern, writing a CV).
  9. Session 9: Social Security (the referring physician, emergency services, vocabulary associated with health issues, medications and different body parts).
  10. Session 10: Leisure in Spain (there are not only parties, but also other options for entertainment...but there are also specific holidays and celebrations).
