Visit and assessment of the universities: UCAM and UEV

FEEDUC

Future students interested in studying in Spain : physiotherapy, dentistry, medicine, pharmacy, audioprosthesis, commerce, architecture, here is the latest information from our visits to the UEV and UCAM.

We are on our way back from Murcia and Valencia where we visited our partner universities, UCAM and UEV. Let's take a look at what we have to remember from the end of the year, university by university.

THE UCAM

As a reminder, UCAM is a private catholic university located in Murcia, in the south-east of Spain. You can find all the practical information on our site on the page dedicated to this establishment.

Students interested in physical therapy training will need to have at least a 12.5 average between the1st and the 12th grades. And PACES students will also be welcome in the admissions process. A minimum level of B1 Spanish is required and you will have to pass an interview with the admissions staff. An official Spanish certificate will be required. Read our news on this subject at this link.

For students interested in studying dentistry at UCAM, the admissions process will be based solely on Credencial scores, your French Baccalaureate equivalency. A quota of places in the Spanish program will be set up. You will be asked to provide an official certificate of Spanish. Read our news on this subject at this link.

A curriculum in English will be set up (subject to approval by the Ministry). A B2 level of English will be required. It must also be certified by an official diploma: TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge Exam...

In addition, a brand new clinic will open in Murcia to accommodate4th year students who will begin their clinical placements with patients.

Other curricula :

UCAM offers excellent courses in tourism, architecture, masters... Do not hesitate to contact us for more information and specific admission procedures for each course.

In general, our visit to UCAM allowed us to meet the university staff with whom you will be in contact, as well as students from all years of training. Their comments and positive feedback confirm that our choice to work with UCAM is relevant. And we will go back as always to verify it in order to offer you a serious and quality university that will make you future great professionals.

The Universidad Europea de Valencia (UEV) :

UEV is a university of the American group Laureate International Universities based in the center of Valencia, in the east of Spain. It is a medium-sized university with facilities in the center of Valencia.

The admission process for 2018 will open in mid-January. We will confirm this as soon as it becomes official through our Facebook page, if possible mid-December.

Just like last year, there will be 3 recruitment sessions (even for dental in English). It is not "first come, first served". And of course, there will be room on all 3 sessions.

So prepare well before applying and it is sometimes wise to wait until the next session to increase your chances of admission.

Here we are referring specifically to the level of Spanish. Increase your chances by preparing yourself better, so that the one who has a better level of Spanish in two similar applications will be selected.

Since there are few changes planned, find the details of the 2017 admissions process on our dedicated VUE page. You will have a psychometric test and a Spanish test. And your high school grades will be taken into account. However, there is no interview.

As for UCAM, we met the students who gave us their general satisfaction with their training. The involvement and professionalism of the VU staff also reinforce our decision to continue our collaboration with them.

They listen to our advice to ensure that their French students are as well prepared as possible. Our regular visits allow us to maintain close contact and to have a quality follow-up of what is offered.

As a result of these visits, our advice for future students interested in studying in Spain is as follows:

  • Prepare yourself well in Spanish
  • If you are in high school, maintain or improve your grades
  • Don't rush to apply: you have time!

You can find our students' advice on this link.

Finally, for those who had the courage to read all the way through, we will certainly have a nice surprise to announce in the next few weeks. So stay tuned to our news!

We are delighted, once again, to bring you more than just a file to fill out.

It's our presence in the field that makes FEEDUC: we know what we're talking about, and we only talk about what we know.
