Schiller International University is the first American university in Spain. Opened in 1964, it is located in the heart of Madrid in an exclusive neighborhood. It is a university with 4 campuses in 4 different countries: Madrid, Tampa, Heidelberg and Paris.
Schiller offers several different formal programs ranging from four-year bachelor's degrees to master's degrees in business, international relations and diplomacy, tourism, technology and data. After four years of study at Schiller University, students earn both an American and an English degree through their partnership with the University of Roehampton in London and its accreditation by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) in the United States.
The particularity of this university, given that it is present in 4 different countries, is the fact that it allows students to do each year of study in a different campus if they wish. This allows students to do one year in Madrid, continue the second year in the Tampa campus, join the Heidelberg campus in the third year and finish the studies in Paris for example. Students can study all four years on one campus or change campuses as they wish, since the program is the same on all campuses and the tuition fees are the same. This rotation between campuses makes Schiller University an international university where students will have the advantage of building a large network during their studies, which will open doors to the professional world. It also allows them to experience total immersion in another country and to learn about other cultures around the world.
Regarding the methodology used, this university offers a system of one subject per month with a final exam at the end of each month to evaluate the skills learned throughout the month on a specific subject.
The class size is small, about 15 students per class, which allows for a personalized follow-up of each student and a deeper learning.
